Get ready to scream for ice cream! Aug. 21 also celebrates a sweet treat Americans and folks around the world love to eat. It’s National Spumoni Day!

In case you’ve never tried it, spumoni is a delicious Italian dessertconsisting of several layers of different flavored ice cream, whipped cream, fruit and nuts. Spumoni should be cut, not spooned.
