Get ready to scream for ice cream! Aug. 21 celebrates a sweet treat folks around the world love to eat. It’s National Spumoni Day!

In case you’ve never tried it, spumoni is a delicious Italian dessert consisting of several layers of different flavored ice cream, whipped cream, fruit and nuts. Spumoni should be cut, not spooned. Who knew?
