Get ready to get your game on! Today is National Video Game(s) Day! Not to be confused with Video Games Day, which is observed in July, National Video Games Day is an annual “holiday” celebrated on Sept. 12th. While the origins of this holiday are unknown, today is the perfect excuse to get your game on!

Video games have sure come a long way since the days of Pacman, Pong, Space Invaders or Asteroids. Video games are big, big business. In fact, they’ve become one of the fastest growing entertainment industries in the world, surpassing movies and music annual revenue. This year, the industry is expected to bring in more than $100 billion in revenue.
