Record Store Day
If you or someone you know is a music lover, former flower child, hippie-at- heart or a child of the 50s, 60s or 70s, get ready to get your groove on! An annual holiday that celebrates music and brick-and-mortar record stores is finally here. Today is Record Store Day. Each year, independently owned record stores across the nation and the world participate in the annual event, which is observed on the third Saturday in April.
Fans from all over the world will once again take a trip down memory lane by heading to their local record store in honor of the annual occasion. Participating record stores from near and far will offer special deals, live music, cook-outs, body painting, meet and greets and special limited edition, exclusive or rare 45 and LP records in honor of the event.
