Today is National Pigs in a Blanket Day. While its origins are unknown, Pigs in a Blanket Day, also referred to as National Pigs in a Blanket Day, is celebrated every April 24.
Pigs in Blankets are tasty little treats children and adults scarf down at family get-togethers and big bashes. Perfect for breakfast or served as an appetizer, these popular snacks are little sausages or wieners wrapped in a pancake, biscuit or croissant dough or bacon. Not only are PIB fun to eat, they’re easy to make too!
Enjoy!
