It’s Extraterrestrial Abductions Day: The aliens are coming on March 20th!

Look up in the sky. Way, way up. Do you see anything out of the ordinary? From green beer cheer and leprechauns, to green uniforms, a greener earth and the first day of spring, March is all about the color green and today is no exception! If you happen to believe in out-of-this-world creatures with a slight tint of green, today is the perfect day to get your green on!

March 20 is Extraterrestrial Abductions Day, also referred to as Alien Abduction Day. While the origins of this annual "holiday" are unknown, some believe the day got its start at a festival in Toronto. Others believe the creator of the event forgot to don his or her proper foil hat and was beamed to another dimension high in the sky by little green men!

Regardless of the origins, in order not to suffer the same fate, you’ll need to be prepared before it’s too late. If you believe we are not alone, there are a few things you can do. Besides reading everything you can about alien abductions, you’ll need to stock up on, well, whatever one needs to thwart alien abduction attempts! And whatever you do, do NOT look under the bed!

Whether you are a believer or skeptic, people have been wondering about life forms on other planets for centuries. The existences of aliens, extraterrestrials and Unidentified Flying Objects(UFOs) have been discussed, dissected and debated in books, television shows, films and documentaries for years. What about you? Are you a believer?

Regardless of how you decide to celebrate this occasion – one word of advice. Just don’t get carried away! March 20 is also Proposal Day and International Earth Day.
