National Caviar Day
If you’re in the mood for something salty yet delicious to eat, you’re in luck. July 18 is National Caviar Day.
Once considered a delicacy for the wealthy, traditional caviar is made from salted and processed, non-fertilized Sturgeon eggs (roe) and is normally eaten as an appetizer, garnish or spread. With the consistency of butter, caviar melts in your mouth!
In honor of this delicious food holiday, why not whip up one or two delish caviar dishes? And by the way, July 18 is also Mandela Day.
