Happy Milk Day: In the 'moood' for milk?

Besides National Hot Toddy Day, January 11th also celebrates a beverage millions of folks around the world enjoy every single day. It's Milk Day, an annual holiday that celebrates that delicious, healthy and refreshing drink we love - milk.

Legend has it milk was delivered in glass bottles for the first time on this day back in 1878. Back in the day, you didn't have to run to the store to pick up a carton of milk. It was actually delivered right to your door.

Got Milk?

While most milk comes from cows, people also consume milk from other animals, including goats, sheep, water buffalo and camels (which doesn't curdle, by the way.) Milk is also available in a slew of different varieties - full cream, whole milk, Low-fat, skim, buttermilk, organic and chocolate, to name a few.
