International Left-Handers' Day: Famous Lefties & Southpaws of the World
Today celebrates all the “lefties” and “Southpaws” of the world. Aug. 13 is International Left-Handers' Day, an annual “holiday” that not only celebrates lefties, but also raises awareness about the numerous struggles and difficulties left-handed people face in a right-handed world. Launched in 1992 by the Left-Handers Club, the annual event is marked by various left-handed Left-Handed parties and events all over the world.
