Lover's Day

While the origins of this romantic day are unknown, who needs a reason to spend some quality time with your significant other? There's no need to spend an arm-and-a-leg, either. Just use your imagination.

Instead of staying cooped up inside, head for the great outdoors with that special someone in your life.

  • Enjoy a nice long walk in the park regardless of the weather.

  • Why not whip up a quick and easy picnic lunch for just the two of you? And if it's raining - have a quiet, romantic indoor picnic.

  • Road trip!

  • Each take turns doing what the other wants. If he loves golf, go golfing with him. If she loves shopping, head to the nearest neighborhood mall and go shopping with her.

  • Plan a romantic candlelit dinner for just the two of you.

  • If you don't have a significant other, invite the BFF's over for movie night! Watch the corniest, most romantic flicks of all time. Just don't forget the Kleenex!

  • If you haven't done it - propose! If you have done it, do it again!

  • Burn a one-of-a-kind CD from a selection of some of the most romantic love songs of all time listed below.
