National Cheese Doodle Day

March 5 is National Cheese Doodle Day, an annual holiday that celebrates the cheesy treat we all love to eat.

While there is some debate as to who actually invented the popular snack, ever since Morrie Yohai's iconic Cheez Doodles first hit the American market back in the 1950s, these crunchy, bright orange baked puffs snacks have been favorite snacks for decades. In fact, more than 15 million pounds of Doodles are produced annually.

Today's cheese-flavored snacks are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and flavors. In honor of National Cheese Doodle Day, why not pop open a bag or two of your favorite finger-lickin' cheesy snacks today?

March 5 is also National Absinthe Day, Cinco De Marcho and Multiple Personality Day.
