If you’re nuts about peanut butter, today is your lucky day! It’s National Peanut Butter Lovers’ Day! This annual food holiday is celebrated every March 1.

Whether you prefer yours smooth and creamy or loaded with chunks of nuts, peanut butter is sweet to eat! Although the origins of this holiday are unknown, folks have been enjoying peanut butter for breakfast, lunch, dinner or in-between for years. In fact, it is believed that peanut butter was invented in 1890 by a St. Louis physician.
