No News is Good News Day

Let’s face it. Most of us lead very busy, hectic lives. Between the career, the home, the kids and family, time is a precious commodity. With a simple click of a mouse or finger swipe across a screen, the constant barrage of news is never-ending. Today more than ever – bad news now travels across the globe in a nanosecond. While being connected on-the-go has many benefits; a majority of the “news” is scandalous and downright depressing.

No News is Good News Day is an annual event that takes place on Sept. 11. It's the perfect time to take a break from all that negativity – the disasters, severe weather, crisis after crisis and tragedies.

It's time to stop and smell the roses and focus on the good. Enjoy life a little. And no worries - you’ll be able to catch up on all the bad news you missed out on today, tomorrow.

Today is also Make Your Bed Day, National Hot Cross Bun Day and 9/11 Remembrance Day.
